These terms govern your use of LaughsWork, operated by IION Entertainment (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to them.

1. The service

LaughsWork is a health and wellness subscription service. It provides short daily sessions, progress tracking, and related features, delivered through our website and applications.

2. Not medical advice

LaughsWork is a wellness product, not a medical device or a medical service. Nothing we provide diagnoses, treats, or prevents any condition. If you have a health concern, speak to a qualified clinician. Do not use LaughsWork in place of medical care.

3. Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to hold an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity under your account.
• One person per account. Accounts may not be shared, sold, or transferred.

4. Subscriptions, billing and renewal

• Subscriptions are $7.99 per month or $81.50 per year, charged at the point of purchase.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price until you cancel. We will give notice before any price change takes effect.
• You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Access continues to the end of the period already paid for.

5. Refunds

If you are unhappy with your subscription, contact us within 14 days of the charge at support@LaughsWork.com and we will refund that payment in full. Outside that window, payments already taken are non-refundable except where required by law. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

6. In-app items

Any items, credits, or progress markers obtained inside LaughsWork are features of the service, held under a limited licence for use inside the service only. They are not property, carry no value outside LaughsWork, cannot be exchanged or transferred, and end when your account closes.

7. Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to falsify, automate, or otherwise interfere with how sessions are measured.
• Do not reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
• Do not submit unlawful, abusive, or infringing material to any part of the service.
• We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.

8. Content you submit

If you submit content to LaughsWork, you keep ownership of it and grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host and display it within the service. You confirm you hold the rights to anything you submit.

9. Availability

We aim to keep LaughsWork running, but the service is provided as-is. Features may change, and access may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or matters outside our control.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in the service before they take effect.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, and disputes will be handled in the courts of that jurisdiction.

This policy explains what LaughsWork collects, why, and what control you have. LaughsWork is operated by IION Entertainment.

What we collect

• Your email address, if you ask to be told when we open.
• Account details — email address and sign-in credentials, once accounts are available.
• Session data — the length and results of sessions you complete, used to build your own progress history.
• Payment data — handled by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment and subscription status; we never see or store your full card number.
• Technical data — device type, browser, and error logs used to keep the service working.

Why we collect it

To run your account, show you your own progress, process your subscription, keep the service secure, and answer you when you get in touch. We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

Only the providers needed to run the service — our hosting and database provider, our payment processor, and our email provider — each acting on our instructions. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Account and session data is kept while your account is open. Close your account and we delete or anonymise it within 30 days, except where we must keep records for legal or accounting reasons.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, ask for corrections, or ask us to delete your account and data. Write to support@LaughsWork.com and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live you may have further rights, including under the GDPR or the CCPA.

Children

LaughsWork is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will notify you by email or in the service before the change takes effect.
